Cherries, raspberries and cranberries, fresh acidity, soft silky structure and a hint of bitter almond on the finish. An attractive, easy drinking rosé with lots of creamy fruit which became increasingly evident if not served too cold.

5,000-6,000 bottles produced. UK is biggest market. Very curious nose - vegetal (almost lettuce-like), red pepper and redbush tea leaves. Herbal complexity and a shell of green spices - some peppercorn, some cardamom - encompassing light red fruit with citric acidity. Orange peel and tamarind tang persist on the finish. (TC)  14%

The Wine Advocate
The 2017 Corbières La Madone is a 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah that was co-fermented and then aged a year in barrel. Plums and vanilla mark the nose, leading into a wine that's full-bodied, creamy and supple in feel. It's undeniably modern and yet hard to resist, as waves of ripe fruit and subtle oak wash across the palate and linger on the velvety finish. It should drink well for at least another five years. 92/100

Made fron the local speciality, Négrette (55%) along with Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, this has an interesting nose of blackberry, leather and a slightly balsamic quality, definitely some herbal notes flitting in and out of the picture too. In the mouth it's full of juicy, tart plum-edged black fruit, buoyant and keen, there's lots of berry fruit but the stripe of tannin and that punchy acidity power through. Needs food I think, maybe a cassoulet or wintery casserole.

Pearly robe with slight violet hues. Fresh and expressive notes of raspberry, floral with hints of thyme. The palate is fresh, round and quite mineral. Has to be served chilled at 8 to 10° C. Ideal with Sauté of veal and tomatoes.

Dusty ripe pears on the nose, rounded and full on the palate but with that pear graininess coming back. Seems surprisingly soft and rounded but there’s freshness right through to the end. Definitely showing characteristics of the region over those of the variety

Nutty and smoky, bit of struck-match reduction. Reminds me of lightly toasted sunflower seeds. Broad, hazelnuts, confident, strides out and barks orders. Incredible steely freshness, ramrod spine, mouthwatering and mouthfilling, then it finishes with a very long, vigorous flourish. Hugely competent. A wine that puts me in mind of the sort of girl who captained the hockey team, won cross country, and marched on stage at the end of the year to pick up the Sportswoman of the Year trophy at school.

A selection from top Dutron family vineyards in the village of Fuissé goes into this wine. Ripe with apricot and mango flavors that are rounded out with spice from wood aging, the wine is full without losing any crispness or ripe acidity. Drink this concentrated wine now.

Greeny colour. Smells of lime sherbet and elderflower candy. Fresh and almost a tiny bit verbena minty. Sweet lime-lemon citrus with a floral linalool backdrop. Simple with a neat, satisfying finish. On a hot day I would happily have a cold glass of this in a pub garden.

Tasted blind. Fragrant, lifted, floral. Bit of menthol, lots of black fruits. Grainy. Dark and brooding.
